Dr. Vinod Biala completed his M.B.B.S & M.S.in Ophthalmology from Govt Medical College, Amritsar. He then did a retina fellowship from Retina Foundation.

He started his private practice in Delhi & NCR in Comprehensive Ophthalmology and as a visiting Retina Consultant at Jeevan group of Hospitals as well as at Dr. J.K. Pasricha Eye Institute, Karnal.

He has vast experience of more than 35 years in Cataract(Phaco), Squint, Vitreo-Retinal surgeries. He has been equally involved in academics at International, National &State level in Delhi &NCR.

• He was chairman scientific committee of U.P. State Ophthalmological Society.
• Editor, U.P. Journal of Ophthalmology & U.P. Video journal of Ophthalmology.
• He has chaired sessions in various National conferences like All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS), Indian Intraocular Implant &Refractive Society (IIRSI), Delhi OphthalmologicalSociety (DOS), Haryana Ophthalmological Society (HOS) & Punjab Ophthalmological Society.

He has presented innovative papers at all the above conferences and chaired academic sessions. He also presented a paper in ESCRS conference at Milan which is published in an International Journal of repute.
